Xiaohui Yu joined York University in 2006, where he is currently an assistant professor. He did his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Toronto under the supervision of the late Professor Kenneth Sevcik and later Professor Nick Koudas.

Xiaohui Yu joined York University in 2006, where he is currently an assistant professor. He did his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Toronto under the supervision of the late Professor Kenneth Sevcik and later Professor Nick Koudas. He holds a MPhil in Computer Science & Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2001), and a BSc in Computer Science from Nanjing University, China (1999). His research intertests lie in the areas of information systems, data mining, and the Web.
